Only minor tilting of the mandibular incisors as the appliance is located in the posterior arch (Force application more distal than with other Class II appliances). Disc repositioning / TMJ therapy thanks to rigid construction. Correction of mandibular swiveling thanks to design of the appliance. Stable dimensions due to lack of moving parts. Easy intra-oral reactivation through repositioning of the protrusive bars. Easy fixation on thermoforming splints or prefabricated bands. Can be combined with lingual technique or splint therapy.
