The Smart Anchor Mini Screws are available in both Titanium & Stainless Steel. The Smart Anchor IZ Screws have high flexibility but also good resistance to fracture making placement effective with predictable results. The Smart Anchor IZ screws have a smooth mushroom head design. The enlarged neck provides ample space to hang closing coil springs or chain elastic. The long collar is half-thread with a half-smoothed body. This unique design minimizes the chances of trauma and inflammation. The self-drilling and self-tapping thread limit the potential for trauma to the tissue and improves the retention of the IZ screw once placed. With diameters of 1.2mm -2.4mm and lengths ranging from 7mm -17mm the clinician can rest assured that the appropriate IZ screw is available for selection. The IZ Screw adaptor and Smart Anchor screwdriver is used to place the IZ screws.
